Ill. John R Patterson Jr., 33°, Active Member of Supreme Council lay down his working tools on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Our Illustrious Brother proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, was a practicing attorney and devoted husband to his wife, Sally.
He was a member of Cambridge-Salem Lodge No. 481, multiple York Rite & Appendant Bodies as well as the Scottish Rite Valleys of Troy & Albany. He was made a 32° Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret on April 21, 1990, Coronetted a 33° Honorary Member of Supreme Council on August 29, 2017 and Crowned as an Active Member of Supreme Council on August 31, 2021.
The Active Members of New York convey our condolences to Brother John’s wife, Sally & his entire family. His presence will be missed but his memory will always be with us.

Ill. Brother Patterson’s Masonic Service will be held at Ackley, Ross & Gariepy Funeral Home, 73 West Main Street, Cambridge, NY 12816 on Wednesday 5/21 just prior to the opening of calling hours.
Brethren are asked to be present by 3:20PM, lining up at 3:30 with the service starting at 3:40pm. The service will immediately be followed by an Order of the Eastern Star service.
